Process Overview for Creating a Warranty Tag and Claim in DSPro
1. Create the Tag in Menu 1.2 Order Entry
2. Edit/Reprint/Search for a tag through Menu 15.9 New Warranty File Maintenance Screen
3. Create Warranty Claim in Menu 15.3
4. Finalize and Transmit Warranty claim in Menu 15.3 (claim will transmit to Corp during EOD).
a. Note - if information is missing from the claim you will be immediately notified by the system and sent an event notification. Go to Menu 35.19.15 to see who is setup to receive the events for each company. The events will tell you which tags are missing information.
5. Menu 15.24 – Warranty Claim Transaction Report – This report shows you which claims have been finalized and also indicates if the claim has been transmitted to Corp.
